A researcher at Tisch's ITP program, Jenny Chowdhury, has a background in electrical enginnering (nerdiness), teaching, and playing practical jokes. The Popularity Dialer began as her final project in "Networked Expressions," a class that explores the ways in which technology and human expression play upon each other. If she looks familiar, it may be because you've seen her carrying around a portable cellbooth for the Cell Atlantic Cellbooth project or aiming her phone when playing her cell phone game, Mobile Assassins.
